Purchasing Beef
When purchasing a share of beef you should expect to receive parts of the whole animal. About 45% of your share will be ground beef, about 17.5% will be steaks, about 37.5% will be roasts and about 2.5% will be organs and bones.

Our beef is priced based on the real cost of raising animals. To allow greater food access, a sliding scale for pricing is available upon request.

¼ share is $10.50 per pound of meat you receive or ~$1,310
½ share is $10.00 per pound of meat you receive or ~$2,500

Beef Shares can also be purchased as CSA Add-Ons via Ollin Farms and Speedwell Farm and Gardens. These Add-Ons are a monthly addition of beef to your Vegetable CSA and will be picked up at those farms.

Small share is $12.00 per pound, 4-6 pounds per month ~$300
Medium share is $11.50 per pound, 10-12 pounds per month ~$633
Large share is $11.00 per pound, 18-20 pounds per month ~$1,045
